Chadburns-Mollart PT manufacture three standard models of the ‘Hookes’ type single universal joints primarily for the aircraft application. The joint types include heavy duty, lightweight and precision ball type, depending on the model shaft sizes from 6mm to 42mm diameter can be offered.

Most of the heavy duty models have CAA design approval.

Single universal joints are normally used in pairs with an interconnecting shaft to provide a constant velocity drive. Non standard sizes and specials to customer’s designs and specifications will also be undertaken.
