Company History |
 |
|
| |
|
Chadburns' name has always been closely linked
with the
marine industry, especially with the famous Chadburns' Ships
Telegraph.
For over 100 years Chadburns products have had
worldwide renown in both
naval and merchant shipbuilding, but
fewer people realise our association
with other industry
sectors.
The company, accredited with the BS EN ISO 9000:2000
quality standard, provides
equipment to the aircraft, nuclear,
paper-making, water-treatment and catering
industries as well
as to a good number of other manufacturing and service
organisations. |

During
the last half century the company has broadened its
horizons to encompass
products and services for the
various industrial sectors.
As a result Chadburns is now a major provider of universal
joints, flexible couplings
and other mechanical control
equipment.
A decision made in 2001 to more tightly control manufacture
within new premises
on Merseyside has meant better
concentration on customer needs and a closer working
relationship with its installation
team in Glasgow. |

Whether supplying equipment from our various product ranges
(Robinson, Standage, Bloctube or Henry
Wilson) or working
directly to customer's own designs and drawings, Chadburns
is
well placed to act as a single source for a wide range of
products and services
for industrial and marine applications.
